Appealing a Denial
Appealing a Denial
If you are denied, do not be discouraged; it may be that further clarification or additional information is needed. If you do receive a denial letter, you are entitled to a clear explanation of the denial.
If denied, it is necessary to initiate an appeal process. Review all of the documentation that was submitted with the team members who were part of the assessment and funding request. Also, request your appeal in writing.
Don't give up too soon. Remember that protection advocacy is available (see next section).
